Anti-Freak Cannon 'Jackal'

Edit: Critique requested cause I'd really like to improve this piece sometime, or make another like it.

Hurrah, a last piece of 2007. And I have to say, I'm impressed at how far I've come, It really shows. It's not a big distance I've covered, looking at this gun there are still major flaws in my ability to imagine perspective and 3D views overall, as well as a reluctance to detail every little bit.

However with this art piece, there is much more detail put into it than any of my other pieces before it, which is not saying much but is big progress. So much so that I'm proud of it.

And who wouldn't be proud of a replica vector of his greatness' most powerful gun?

6 hour duration (1 on drawing on paper, 1 on getting scanner to work, rest on vectoring + GIMP trickery), inkscape + GIMP used, much more gradient and only one use of the blur function (hurrah! seriously).
