Description

SPRD - SimPlaza Research and Development presents
DDR DISK BEINGS, VERSION 2.0

Warning: This avatar requires a lot of effort to set up via XML import due to lack of attachment position information that is currently not exportable. Sorry!

One of my earliest creations, the ever so bright (and hollow) disk beings from my favourite game series of all time <3 These avatars get a lot of attention at raves for being unique, bright (mostly due to full-bright abuse) and just damn good fun to dance with.

What does this pack come with?
These avatars use NO textures at all, hence this pack only contains importable XML prims for use with a good viewer like Imprudence.

What is this pack missing?
This doesn't come with an alpha layer, which is something you'll need to make in order to hide your avatar shape which is VITAL for these avatars. To learn how to make and wear an alpha layer, follow these instructions.

Can I obtain this in-world on OSGrid?
Yes - Simply drop me a note/comment here with your avatar name OR a notecard to "Major Rasputin" and I will send you a pack which is wearable without the need for modification.

Can I obtain this in-world on Second Life?
No - Unless someone's willing to import and distribute the avatar FOR FREE with FULL PERMISSIONS.

What does "100% organic" mean?
Everything used to make this avatar is 100% by me. No third-party textures or images from the internet or stock collections were used in the making of this avatar.

VERSION HISTORY

  • v2.0: All the rings are now paper thin, some prim fixes

  • v1.0: Invisi-prims removed; now relies on alpha layer

  • v0.5: Initial version

TO-DO

  • Get rid of the "root" prims completely
